  In The  'FINISHING VENETIAN PLASTER AS MARBLE' CLASS You will learn the following:

• Continued development in the technique of laying down Venetian Plaster as smooth as marble so that it may be  finished convincingly as Marble.  [The prerequisite instruction from the VPI Intensive Course is critical here, for the practiced ability to achieve a mirror-smooth Venetian Plaster surface.]

• The techniques necessary to prepare and cover the curved surface of a round column [smooth columns only, not fluted] with multiple coats of genuine Italian Plaster - which will then be ready for applications of specific marble styles.

• The use of the patent pending tool which makes the application of Venetian Plaster to a rounded surface, with relative ease and remarkably fast!

• How to 'illustrate' the prepared plaster surfaces with the colors, veins and deposit styles of 5 different specific marbles which run virtually the full spectrum of techniques for any marble you will be called upon to reproduce.

• The tools and techniques for burnishing the layers of tinted plaster so that the polished result shines like marble and shares its reflective qualities.

• How to burnish for the highest shine with NO blade marks on the marble.

• What materials work best.

• Waxing hints and techniques.
